Obituaries

Frank Wilson

Frank Wilson passed away on July 28, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Society Prescott Village in Arizona. Frank’s wife of 77 years, Mary Wyleese Knauss Wilson was at his side. Frank was born i n L aMard Township, Wayne County, Illinois to R oy L Wilson and Mary Blanche Barr Wilson.

Frank and Wyleese were married in Arkans as while he was on a 1-day leave from the M arines. After Frank’s service to his country, t hey moved to Illinois where he began worki ng at Airtex and they started their family. In 1 958 they moved to Arizona where Frank w orked for Motorola until his retirement. W hile living in Arizona, Frank has resided in S cottsdale, Payson, and Prescott. He enjoyed w oodworking and left family members with p ieces he built that they will treasure always.

Frank is survived by his wife Wyleese, and h is children: Paula Kinsey and her husband B ob, James (Jim) Franklin Wilson Jr. and his w ife Cherie, and Pamela Nordick and her husb and Gene. Frank is also survived by four g randchildren and seven great-grandchildren. H e was preceded in death by his parents and b rothers: Roy, Lowell and Tommy.

A small graveside family gathering will take p lace at Green Acres Mortuary in Scottsdale. N o other services are planned at this time due t o Covid-19.

The family suggests a donation to your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
