t is no secret by now that when Gerd Wuestemann took over as the CEO and president of Scottsdale Arts nearly four years ago, he had grand plans for expanding the use of Civic Center and surrounding area. One of his grandest ideas was hosting a gala there under the stars just as spring began. COVID-19 put a screeching halt to his idea.
