A Special Wellness Report New Medicine Based On An 88-Year Old Theory By Albert Einstein Can Help Almost Everyone Who Is Sick Or Injured!

W

hat you are about to read may be the most important information you’ve ever read. Here is why. Albert Einstein was, quite possibly, the most intelligent person who ever lived. His theories and ideas were so far ahead of his time, that even now, the smartest scientists alive are still discovering his value.

amount and type of energy is restored to these cells. But once that energy is restored...

The Body Can Recover From Almost Anything! With the correct equipment, properly used, low level lasers have been clinically shown to reduce pain, reduce inflammation, increase cellular energy, increase cell permeability (so that the nutrients the cell needs to heal can get into the cell) and even help correct faulty DNA!*

One of his theories published in 1917, worked out the theory of how lasers function. However, it was not until May 16, 1960 (43 years later) that the first actual laser was developed by an American scientist. Since then, scientists and inventors have developed many types of lasers and all kinds of uses for them. They can be used as a scalpel that is so delicate, it can be used on the eyes of human beings. Lasers are used to read price codes at your local supermarkets. And they’re used to play music and video on your CD’s and DVD’s. But now, there is a new type of laser so effective against human disease and injury that it is rapidly changing the practice of medicine. This is a new type of low-level laser which produces an unfocused light that has been...

Registered With The FDA To Be 100% Safe! Low-level lasers use less than one watt of power and they produce what can best be described as a “Healing Light”. Here is a somewhat un-scientific description of how this “Healing Light” can potentially help reverse the damage done by human sickness and disease. As you probably know, our entire bodies are made up of cells. The health of all human cells is based on energy. If your cells don’t receive enough energy, they will weaken and the body will become sick. Call 1-800-303-6923,

Code 6871.

Be One Of The First 200 To Call & Receive A Free DVD! For you to be healthy, what your cells need is exactly the right kind and the right amount of energy. Every time you get injured or become sick, the energy flow to your cells is disrupted. Until the proper type and amount of energy is restored, you will remain sick or injured. That’s what a low-level laser device does. It re-energizes the cells in your body with the right kind and proper amount of healing energy. It may surprise you to learn that low level lasers are ...

Used By Doctors To Heal Their Patients In The Fastest Way Possible! Could you guess what kind of doctors use the highest percent of low-level lasers on their patients? It’s doctors involved in sports medicine. Why? The answer is simple. You see, doctors involved in sports medicine often have to get their patients better in the fastest way humanly possible because every day he remains “unhealthy” can cost the sports organization millions of dollars.

What you have just read is a very simplistic (almost childish) explanation of low-level laser therapy, of how it works, and what it can do for you. But this is something that needs to be explained to you much more accurately by a real expert.

Professional Results In a Small, Easy to Use Package! Call 1-800-303-6923, Code 6871 For Your FREE Information Report.

But here’s something exciting! You don’t actually need to go to a doctor to get laser therapy. If you want to you can buy one of these devices and use it on yourself. The best ones come with simple, easy-to-follow instructions and can be used by almost any person with average intelligence. Perhaps the best low-level lasers in the world have been invented by a doctor named Larry Lytle. He has studied lasers and human health for years, and Dr. Lytle is, without question, one of the most knowledgeable people in the world about low-level lasers... and... how they can be used...

To Help Almost Every Health Problem Ever Experienced By A Human Being! Dr. Lytle believes (as do many other people) low-level laser therapy will become the medicine of the future. If you hold a low-level laser device against the skin of your body and turn it on, you will be able to see the laser light... but... you will not be able to feel it. There probably won’t even be a sensation of warmth. Laser light is as gentle as the kiss of a butterfly. But, from a healing point of view, it is quite possible it is more effective than drugs or surgery. Low-level laser therapy is not just the medicine of the future. For many people who know about it, it is the “medicine” they use now. The problem of trying to explain the healing powers of low-level laser therapy is...

It Works So Well On So Many Different Problems, It Seems Like It Couldn’t Possibly Be True! But it is true! As mentioned earlier, all injury and illness creates an interruption of energy to the cells of the human body. The body will never recover until the proper Advertisement

Scottsdale Grammy Winner Roars With ‘Tiger’ For Grammy Award winner April Stevens, penning her book “Teach Me Tiger” was a true labor of love. Stevens, who along with brother Nino Tempo earned the 1964 Best Rock ‘n’ Roll Recording prize for “Deep Purple,” admitted she cried while writing “Teach Me Tiger.” “There was still a lot of crying going on,” she said. “I got lost sometimes and I had to stop. I had a little ankle surgery. I thought, ‘Well, great. I’ll be able to work and just finish it.’ I didn’t even want to look at it. When you’re in pain and your body is trying to get well, you just can’t do anything like that.” April Stevens was born Carol LoTempio in Niagara Falls, N.Y., in 1929. Blessed with a beautiful voice, she found success in the 1950s through 1970s, recording for a number of labels, including RCA Victor. The book “Teach Me Tiger” tells the story of her career and her life between 1950 and the present. It is named after her sexually suggestive 1959 hit, which peaked at No. 86 on the Hot 100 chart. “I remembered so much that I didn’t expect to remember,” said Stevens, who is married to Bill Perman. “I thought, ‘How will I remember every incident?’ But one incident reminded me of the next incident.” One of those incidents is her and her brother’s Grammy win. Stevens keeps the award on her mantle in her Scottsdale home and is contemplating taking it with her on book-signing events. “We never expected to win,” she said. “I had my mouth full of food. I was chomping away. I couldn’t believe it.” She and Tempo didn’t invite friends or family because, frankly, classifieds

they thought a win wasn’t possible. Their parents, however, had been very supportive. “They left their hometown and all their families just to come out to California in the ‘40s,” she said. “I was just about 11 or 12 and Nino was about 6. It turned out well though— really well.” She credits her friends, such as Cary Grant, for helping guide her career. “He used to come to our house and have spaghetti dinners,” Stevens said. “He said, ‘Have fun on the way up because there are no rewards at the end. The fun is trying to get there.’ He was right. He was absolutely right. He was a wonderful friend.” She and her brother also counted among their friends Phil Spector, Bill Medley of the Righteous Brothers, Atlantic Records’ founder Ahmet Ertegun, Ozzie and Harriet Nelson, Cher, Anthony Quinn and Bobby Darin. “If I hadn’t fallen in love with the fella I did, who knows what might have happened,” Stevens said about her career. “I always wonder about that, but I had a great life. It’s really been enough for three people.” Stevens’ book is available via Amazon and TeachMeTiger.net.

Mom-e Clubs Offer Entrepreneurial Support By Tracy House When Tisha Marie Pelletier founded Mom-e Clubs, she was looking for a way to connect with other mom entrepreneurs. After attending entrepreneurial and momclub meetings, she said she felt like she didn’t belong. She left one of the meetings and wrote about how she felt on her blog. “I’m a mom. I’m an entrepreneur. I’m both and there isn’t something that meets those needs for me in terms of meeting other like-minded women,” Pelletier explained. Her blog was read by a local newspaper and as they say, the rest is history. The Mom-e Club started in September 2010. The group has eight chapters in the Valley and seven

5 Tips to Create a Holiday Budget mom cents

pasta vixen

Creating a holiday budget can help you control your spending and make sure you get all of the items you need while staying out of debt or overspending. The thought of a budget can be daunting as well as intimidating, but it does not have to be. Here are five tips to help: Define your needs. Before deciding what you want to do this holiday season, decide what you need to do. Write list down of the gifts that are important for you to buy, the meals that you will be responsible for, and of course, the charities you wish to donate to. Look at your finances in an honest light. Look at your income and decide how much disposable income you have for this holiday season. Disposable income would be what is left after all of your bills for the photo page

Create a new list of the items you need to purchase. Set a dollar amount next to each item and stick to it. Re-evaluate your budget as the season goes on. Each time you make a purchase from your list, cross it off and move to the next. Keep a running tab of what you have spent so far, and note what you have left to spend. This will help you plan your remaining purchases easily and efficiently. That’s it! Just by following these simple steps you can easily create a budget that you can stick too and is user friendly. month are paid. This is what you have to work with for holiday spending. Be realistic. Yes, we would all like to buy our loved ones incredible gifts, but be realistic. Spending more does not equal a happier holiday. In fact, it only adds stress. Be realistic about what you can afford and only look at options that are in your budget. Create a new shopping list. You know what your needs are, you know what you can spend, and now you know how to be realistic about where to spend it.

Scottsdale Author Shares Experience Living Off the Grid By Tracy House It sounds like a work of fiction: A family decides to live off the land, at one time living in their car. In talking with Anne Lafferty Hudgins, however, the story isn’t a work of imagination, but the retelling of how she, her husband and three children subsisted off the land in Wisconsin for 15 years. The Scottsdale author tells of her adventures and experiences in her new book, “Pared to the Bone—Core Hollow Days.” “We lived in the rugged hills of Wisconsin,” Hudgins said. “It’s a very rocky, rough hilly area. We were completely off the grid and we fended for ourselves for every provision. That means we provided our own shelter. We raised and hunted our own food. We warmed our home with the available wood on the property.” They were originally from the city, Page 14

selling their house and moving out to the 50 acres of abandoned property where they slept in the back of their pick-up truck and tents until building a shelter. “We learned how to do everything and we didn’t get many second chances,” Hudgins said. “We learned really fast.” The story chronicles the 1990s, “when everybody else was totally involved in their career and making lots of money,” Hudgins said. “We were edgy adventurers. The back to the land movement is really popular today and in the ‘70s and ‘80s it was, too.” Hudgins said suburbia and wall-to-wall carpeting wasn’t for her. She and her now-deceased husband made the conscious decision to forgo all the necessities of life and make-do with what they could find on the 50 acres. Hudgins was an adult education

Standout dishes are the salmon BLT, an open-faced sopapilla with anchoseared salmon, maple bacon and tomato relish, and the raspberry chipotle pork tenderloin, boasting Iowa pork tenderloin medallions on a plate of painted raspberry chipotle and a dollop of mango salsa served with a side of delectable red chili maple mashed potatoes. The combination of flavors and textures is culinary perfection. The chorizo-stuffed chicken entrée is another popular dish. It is filled with green chiles, fontina cheese and mild chorizo, smothered with an amaretto mushroom cream sauce, sautéed vegetables and a green chile stuffed with chile mashed potatoes. If you still have room, check out their signature cookie pie dessert or the unique variety of rich crème brulees, including the seasonal pumpkin crème brulee. Cocktails are a huge asset at Blue Adobe and much thought went into the spirits and cocktails menu. In addition to the large selection of fruity margaritas and specialty tequilas, there are some great signature drinks.

The raspberry chipotle pork tenderloin is a tantalizing combination of tastes and textures.

The Peach Sangria is not to be missed. The light and refreshing drink features New Age white wine, Absolut peach vodka, peach schnapps and fresh fruit. The skinny dip margarita features a two-for-one with Hornitos Reposado Tequila, agave nectar, a splash of fresh orange juice, a seven ounce Corona dunked upside down in the margarita and served in a signature southwest jar. Look for the debut of its indoor/ outdoor bar in just a few months.

What’s Cooking? By Jan D’Atri

Festive Sicilian Fig Bars ‘Cucidati’ pasta vixen

You get two Italians together and it’s not long before the conversation settles food and family—especially during the holidays! Thus began my friendship with Vinny Dejohn, formerly the wine and specialty food buyer at Whole Foods Market in Scottsdale. Getting his suggestions for a good vintage was great, but getting his vintage family recipe for an Italian fig cookie was even greater. Cucidati is one of the most delightful and delicious Sicilian holiday treats. Thankfully, Vinny’s mission a few years ago was to contact his great aunt, carve out some time and preserve a family recipe once and for all. Here’s how Vinny put it: “Great Auntie Antoinette Arnone was 93 years old when she died. Ten years ago during the holidays, I went back to New York and I made arrangements to spend time with events calendar

Auntie Arnone and have her teach me how to make ‘Goog-i-dottie,’ as she would call them. “We spent all afternoon making the cookies. Not only did I leave with Cucidati, but also her handwritten recipe card and her grandmother’s meat grinder that she herself has been using to grind the fig mixture for 60 years! I was so appreciative of her for taking the time to pass along her recipe. I often think of those treasured moments together.” Vinny’s version of this soft, flavorfilled fig cookie with icing and little colorful candies is now part of my own holiday tradition. What better way to honor my own Sicilian father. The time put into making these delights is well worth it. Keep them in an airtight container and pass them around the table for a festive holiday treat.

Cucidati For the Fig Bar Filling 1 (11 oz.) package of dates 1/2 box raisins 1 string of dried figs or 2 packages (7 oz. each) figs. 1 small can of frozen orange juice concentrate (do not dilute) 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1/2 tablespoon ground cloves 1/2 cup honey 1 cup strawberry preserves 1 shot whiskey 1 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Scottsdale Station Restaurant Global Cuisine and Big, Bold Flavors Scottsdale Station is open in The Village at Hayden and for those not familiar with their concept, they’ll love what they’ve been missing. Owners Robert and Linda Gabrick are also the owners of Prescott Station, and previously Carefree Station. Their unique menu and libations are a tour de force of flavors and quality that have repeatedly thrilled diners for years. The new restaurant boasts both an elegant and slightly rustic feel that creates an entirely welcome ambiance. Executive Chef Thomas Nasworthy presents one-of-a-kind global cuisine sensations at Scottsdale Station with the assistance of Chef Ben Lieberman and Pastry Chef Heather Nasworthy. Together, they bring a diverse and upscale menu to the new restaurant. “We searched the world for flavors and came up with unique recipes,” stated Assistant General Manager Tim Buell. “We have everything from Asian and French Provincial to Regional Americana and Southwestern. The food features big, bold flavors and we’re definitely a chef-driven restaurant.” Scottsdale Station boasts 8,200 square feet, a 120-seat bar, beautiful patio areas, outdoor fireplaces and a comfortable private dining room. The location and spaciousness were important to the Gabricks when considering where to open their concept restaurant. “This place is amazing,” Buell said. “It has a neighborhood feel which is what we’re used to and we’re looking forward to meeting our new guests. We’re also very involved in the community.” The bar is also known as “BevHeaven.” Buell stated, “We have the highest-rated wine, beer and liquor from all over the world.” In fact, Scottsdale Station’s motto for their unique bar is “BevHeaven, where only the best wine, spirits and beer get to heaven.” This is definitely not a sports bar. Rather, BevHeaven is focused on the appreciation and on the town
