Christmas in Venice Saturday, Dec. 25
For the past nine years, a large group of volunteers come together to feed, clothe, hand out toiletries and bring smiles to the less fortunate community of Venice Beach. Due to COVID-19 regulations they have now moved their event from the Venice Beach basketball courts to a nearby area where most of the homeless have relocated in between Hampton Drive and Main Street. They need your helping hands, physical and money donations to keep the event alive and going. This year they have had to pay permits to shut down the street, rent barricades and tables, get insurance, supplies and more. If you can’t attend to help feed the homeless, you are more than welcome to make a cash donation or donate items including toiletries, clothing, and more. Masks are required at all times. To participate you must RSVP at Eventbrite.com/e/christmasin-venice-2021-tickets-224959559097. For more info, email lostangelorg@ gmail.com.
