Chamberlain Orthodontics gives back to the community BY LYNETTE CARRINGTON

Dr. Tom Chamberlain and his dedicated and caring staff are committed to providing clients with the highest quality orthodontic care. Taking it one step further, they are devoted to the local, national and global community. “We like to be a good part of the community,” Chamberlain says. “Our niche is that we like to give back. We’re very giving to the schools and provide a lot of support to the arts programs in the schools. We’re involved with Pueblo Middle School and Bogle Junior High School with their arts programs, and we’re also involved with their sports programs, especially track and field.” Each year, the office hosts a competition for free braces at Hamilton High School. This year, the contest is being extended to Chandler High School. “We work with the social worker from the schools,” Chamberlain notes. “They work with the English teachers who ask for an essay from anyone looking for braces for free. It is a needbased program.” The staff reads the essays, and the best one is chosen. The winner

receives free braces. “We’re involved with Smiles Change Lives, a national program that gives free orthodontic cases away to

deserving families,” Chamberlain says. “We’re one of only a few orthodontists in the state that participates.” Through that program, Chamberlain Orthodontics gives away four sets of braces annually to children who cannot afford them. “We’re committing to giving away free treatment for every case that we start,” Chamberlain says. Cases could be abroad in places like Africa or Costa Rica where Chamberlain Orthodontics is going this September, or it may be provided locally through services like Mission of Mercy. Affordable payment options for braces are available and tailored to suit individual financial situations. Chamberlain Orthodontics has two locations in Chandler at 3800 W. Ray Rd., Suite 9, and 1055 W. Queen Creek Rd., Suite 5. Call (480) 448-2474 for additional information or visit www. smilestraight.com. Lynette Carrington is a freelancer for the SanTan Sun News.
