BY GLENDALE STAR STAFF

The Arizona Coyotes will hold two open practices for Valley hockey fans at Ice Den Scottsdale from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, and at AZ Ice Gilbert from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 5.

Both practices are free and open to the public.

“We are very excited to have our players and coaches take part in open practices in Scottsdale and Gilbert for our great fans,” Coyotes President and CEO Xavier A. Gutierrez said.

“This will be a tremendous opportunity for our fans to see our players up close and to grow the great game of hockey in Arizona. We plan on setting up additional practices at other Valley rinks in the future.”

In addition, over the next few months, the Coyotes will conduct fi ve coaching seminar Zoom calls that all Valley hockey coaches can participate in. The seminars will focus on bench management (Tourigny), power play (Phil Housley), penalty kill (Mario Duhamel), pre-scouting (Cory Stillman) and goaltending preparation (Corey Schwab).
