Educators from GESD and representing 17 organizations across the U.S. and Mexico attended the live event and virtual broadcast held July 20 - July 22 at Glendale Landmark School.

GESD hosted the PLC at Work LIVE Institute by Solution Tree at Landmark School. Districts or schools that function as PLCs create learning environments where all students can reach their fullest potential. GESD embraced its PLC journey six years ago as the first Model PLC school district in Arizona. Solution Tree recognized GESD for sustained success in raising student achievement. The District’ s successful implementation of a PLC was a major contributing factor in the improved student outcomes. The PLC at Work LIVE Institute was an opportunity for GESD educators and collaborators to learn together and grow in meaningful ways. The full scale of the impact of the institute will be felt as GESD continues to innovate in the classroom and improve student outcomes together.
