Ironically, gleaning the best advice and inspiration for designing, building, renovating or just decorating our homes often requires we step beyond our own front doors. Although there are plenty of home and garden events from which to choose, we have included our top picks for shows to visit.

April 7-10, Eden Park, Reimers Avenue, Kingsland It might be a little beyond most of us to ever develop the perfect ‘garden of Eden’ but we can try! Held at the iconic Eden Park, this event is billed as a ‘one-stop-shop with a massive range of exhibitors’, with everything from street food to live entertainment also on the programme. 2022 FRANKLIN HOSPICE GARDEN FESTIVAL

March 26-27, Winsford Gardens, 35 Mceldownie Rd, Opaheke, Ramarama A fanciful festival, this event is also designed to raise funds to assist the fantastic work of Franklin Hospice.
