TIMPO classes are the heart of our program, offering enriching experiences for all ages and skill levels. Our commitment to nurturing young talents led to the introduction of a beginner guitar class for 4th - 5th graders.This class blended Jewish and secular music to teach the fundamentals of guitar playing. And that's not all; wehave great news! In Spring 2024, we'll be launching a brand-new piano lab, bringing the joy of piano classes toTemple Israel. Adults can look forward to the Fall sessions of beginner guitar, while beginner piano classes for bothadults and young children will be offered in the Spring, and our Religious School will provide an array of youthTIMPO classes throughout the year.

Ensemble performances foster a strong sense of community and artistic expression within our Temple Israel family. OurTI Band and TI Teen Band have been enchanting audiences at various services and events throughout Spring 2023.We're thrilled to introduce our latest addition, the TI Memphis Jewish Choir, which promises to be a captivating force inour musical landscape. Sharing the Joy of Music with TIMPO Concerts & Jam Sessions

At TIMPO, we believe that music should transcend the walls of our temple and reach every corner of our community.Our Music Outreach initiatives aim to achieve just that. Concerts and bi-monthly TIMPO Jam sessions are open to all,regardless of skill level.
