La tercera isla natural más grande de México, destacada por su extraordinaria belleza, aguas cristalinas, brisa caribeña y peces de mil colores. Bautizada por los mayas como “ La isla de las golondrinas”, por muchos años considerada un lugar sagrado, en donde cientos de mujeres realizaban peregrinaciones para ofrecer regalos a Ixchel, diosa de la luna, a cambio de amor y una vida fértil. Se decía que la diosa en agradecimiento les enviaba el bello canto de las golondrinas. «

Baptized by the Mayas as “The Island of the Sw allows”, Cozumel w as considered a sacred place, where hundreds of women made pilgrimages to offer gifts to Ixchel, goddess of the moon, in exchange for love and a fer tile life.
