Become a YMCA Lifeguard One of the best ways to get ahead in your life and career is to be a YMCA Lifeguard. You’ll learn life-saving skills through our fully paid lifeguard certification program that includes First Aid, CPR and AED training. Our lifeguards are highly trained individuals who are also responsible, quick thinkers— that’s quite a combination of skills to add to your resume! Plus, you’ll receive a free YMCA membership, discounts on YMCA programs and more! Those 15 or older are eligible to be YMCA lifeguards.
