Children’s Early Learning Services Program (CELSP)

The Children’s Early Learning Services Program (CELSP) helps children develop, grow and learn through its home-based program (Early Intervention) and its Inclusive Preschool Program.

Our talented, compassionate, and dedicated early learning staff and interventionists have decades of experience and are comprised of licensed and certified teachers, speech therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and nurses.

Inclusive Preschool Program The Arc’s inclusive preschool program is designed for children ages two years, seven months through entrance into kindergarten.

The inclusive preschool supports children with and without disabilities to learn and grow together.

Government funding partially supports our services for children with developmental delays and disabilities, while families in need of financial help with typical children have come to rely on The Arc of Chester County as one of the few nonprofit preschool programs offering a five-hour day, four days a week licensed preschool in Chester County. The Arc works tirelessly engaging in private fundraising activities to support those needing assistance.

Recognized for its innovative services and quality since 1962, The Arc’s Preschool Program can accommodate medically fragile children and those with other physical disabilities in the classroom setting. It is because there is a registered nurse on staff, that these children can successfully participate in our onsite preschool.

Operating year-round, The Arc’s specialized instruction is delivered by certified early childhood and special education teachers. Programming is targeted to each child’s needs to support progress toward an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP).

Early Intervention

The Arc’s home-based program, early intervention program provides specialized services and therapies for infants and toddlers, age birth to five years old, with developmental delays or disabilities in their home or other natural environments such as a daycare. info@arcofchestercounty.org
