The Goshorns November 2013

The Final Stretch!! We cannot believe we are weeks away from finishing our year of language school. This will be another bitter sweet moment for us. We have built some wonderful relationships with students, teachers, neighbors, guards, doctors, and of course our Costa Rican church family. We’ve gone through a lot this year, good and bad, but in all of it we can see that God was preparing us for what’s to come. We are praying for good “goodbyes” as another chapter of our journey with Christ comes to a close. He has stretched us in many ways this year. And has always been faithful. GOD IS AMAZING!! While we are in the States our time will be limited. We plan to spend Christmas in New York with Jennifer's family. We will be in Florida for a global gathering of missionaries with The Mission Society and additional training January 13-24th. We will also have to go to the Peruvian embassy in Washington D.C. for some final documents before heading to Peru the first week of March. In the time we have in the States we’ll try and visit with new churches and individuals in the hope of building up our team of prayer warriors and financial supporters, since our financial support has dropped a little over this past year. If you or your church would like to visit with us regarding this please let us know. We cannot express enough how much we love and appreciate all of you that have been called as “senders” of our family. Please know that we cannot do this without you and we keep each of you in our prayers. If you would like to visit with us while we are in the states please let us know, we would love to spend time with you.

Jennifer with our friend Andrea.

NEEDS This is a huge request, but we are in need of a vehicle for the time we’re in the States that can handle 5 people and luggage. We need to make a trip to NY and a trip to Washington DC.

We have a list of items we need to purchase before we head to Peru such as clothing and multiple pairs of shoes for the men in the family. Since the Goshorn men are considerably larger in stature than Peruvians, clothes and shoes will not be available for them in Peru.

Daniel and the praise band.

We will also need additional luggage and containers to pack for Peru.

Matthew and Katie with Jeremy.
