The Goshorns Step by Step March 2018 This month we started a prayer group in our home. This is something we should have started long ago. It’s very encouraging to have a group of people praying for one another and praising the Lord together in our home once a week. If you have any prayer concerns we would love to hear them so we can pray for you in our weekly prayer group. We’re excited that we have both Hilda and Angel in college now. As we told you in the past, we have sponsors in the states that are willing to pay for their education. This is a big opportunity for them coming out of the orphanage. They are doing great as of now. They’ve also agreed to attend a weekly Bible study at our house. I started a men’s group a couple months ago and as of now I’m very pleased. This community is ravaged with abuse and alcoholism. I had 12 men one week and 4 the next, attendance is irregular but I truly feel it will grow. We discuss life problems, and struggles they face. The men approached me about learning things such as wiring and better ways to farm. We will work on these things together to build trust and give the men some useful skills. We are studying the book of Matthew. What we do is read a verse and then someone repeats it from memory. The group adds what was missed in the retelling. They tell what part of the passage they like the most and what

The

it reveals about God and who they might share this with. This is very slow, but we have time. We are very busy preparing for a couple teams this year. The main purpose is to open doors to share Christ by meeting some physical needs. The medical team will be serving in Andamarka which is a bit deeper in the Andes. I have to travel there quite a bit in order to get everything set up with the community regarding sleeping arrangements, food and so on. We are blessed that the military has offered to fly the medicines there by helicopter. This will insure it arrives safely. They also have a military base on site. The construction team will be coming to Huancayo to help a local Christian family in great need of a dry and secure house. Please keep these teams in your prayers.

We humbly thank you for your continued prayers and financial support. If you haven’t yet, we ask that you would prayerfully consider financially supporting this ministry in Peru. Without more financial partners this ministry can not continue to grow. We love you all and thank you for being part of God’s work in Peru.
