THE GOSHORNS COSTA RICA!!

We’ve arrived in Costa Rica to start our year of language school in preparation for Peru. Our last week in Ky.was a little hectic trying to get everything wrapped up, but the Lord surrounded us with some awesome friends who helped us. When we arrived in Costa Rica we had no place to live because of limited available housing. We were blessed to be able to stay with the Tatums a missionary family in there will be many obstacles & attacks, but we also Costa Rica, while we & many individuals at the school believe we will become closer & stronger spiritually as continued to look for housing. Praise the Lord, a house about a 20 minute walk from the school was found & we individuals & as a family. now have a new home.

We need an army of prayer warriors praying for strength, learning & that God will help us build The first week of school was a tad exhausting & we hear it will continue to be so, but we are excited. We as a relationships with our neighbors & other Costa Ricans family have picked a evening to dedicate to the Sabbath. in order to share Christ. We need prayer for the sale of our farm, prayer that people will continue to join us We spend this time together & share prayer concerns, financially & through prayer. We would love to also read together, talk & pray. We have made it a point for each of us to pick 5 of our partners & pray for them for hear your prayer concerns in order to pray specifically a week, then we pick 5 more & do the same. We believe for you.

Proverbs 22:6

Isaiah 54:13

Deuteronomy 13:4

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it

All your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children

It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.

STEP BY STEP Reflections written December 29th. As we prepared to leave our home this morning, I opened the front door to see nearly 4 inches of snow. I love the winter

and I love the snow. What a gift

to receive on such a bittersweet morning. I stood silently on the porch just looking at our pasture in a blanket of white. For me it’s like watching a baby sleep, you’re just drawn to the peace and wonder of it, unable to take your eyes from it, being simply in the moment of God’s sovereignty. As random flakes filled the air and fell to the ground and on my face, the stillness and quietness spoke loudly that God is with us. He is with us through the heartache, excitement, and anxiety. He is with us as we face the many changes ahead and as we leave many memories behind. He is with us always. Thank you Lord for such a beautiful quiet morning filled with what I love most, to look off my front porch at a snow filled pasture, snow covered trees, snow
