The Goshorns Step by Step December 2018 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We hope you all had a peace filled Christmas and blessed new year. This year with your generous support we were able to buy Christmas boxes of food for 65 families. Thank you so much for supporting this part of our ministry. The look on the faces of these families was priceless, especially since food is so scarce for them. We were also blessed with a team from Alabama that arrived in December to help put the boxes together and deliver them. The group was also permitted, along with our team, to enter the prison. We gave the women in the prison a message, and handed out hot chocolate, panatone and toiletries to 96 inmates. What was very unusual is that the prison guards allowed all of us to enter the dorms where the women sleep. Jennifer and I supplied the inmates with paint and fabric in order to fix up the rooms and the women were very excited to show us what they did with the supplies. Zumilinda and Luzmilda are thriving. Zumlinda received an award for a poem she recited and Luzmilda received an award for math at the school they are attending. Many of our Peruvian friends have said they see such a change in them. They said they look healthier, their faces are fuller and they smile all the time. They also celebrated Christmas with us and learned this is when we give thanks for the birth of Christ. A group from Crestwood UMC bought chickens for 2 very poor families. This will supply eggs for the

families that some days go without food. The group is also suppling feed for the chickens. This is such a huge blessing for these families. We traveled to the states on December 23rd. We were able to spend our 1st Christmas with the boys in 4 years. Now we’re waiting for the birth of our 1st grandson, Caleb Thomas:) As a lot of you know, TMS Global has not been receiving mail. Of course they would not know if they haven't received mail, but many missionaries have noticed a decrease in their donations. This has caused lots of frustration for many missionaries and supporters. The USPS has been investigating for some time but have not been able to figure it out.
