1. It has been claimed, Britain sends a higher percentage of students to foreign universities than many other countries

Research conducted in 2012 revealed that there were currently approximately 60,000 British students on degree courses abroad, these figures apply only to students enrolled in full degree courses abroad, not students spending a term or year abroad as part of their degree. This number has been on the increase for the last 5 years and continues to grow on an annual basis.
3. A recent Unesco report predicted that more than 7 million students will be studying outside their home country by 2020.
