In this edition of the Tigress315radio Newsletter, we are thrilled to feature Lucia Costa who is a independent music, Lucia Costa’s passion for music came from her father’s passion for opera music and his impressive collection of opera on vinyl
I was born in Lucca,Tuscany, Italy, where the great opera composer Giacomo Puccini was also born.
How did you first get into music?
I can say since I was in my mother's belly because my father listened to opera music every day since he is a great collector of opera records Then in my early years my parents enjoyed making me sing and they recorded me with tapes
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
I could describe my music as something magical that forms at the moment of inspiration I create my music with the intent of making those who listen to it feel good.. and make them forget their daily problems for a few moments
Who inspired you to make music?
I was inspired to make music by Maestro Enzo Avitabile who advised me to start making my own music by looking for my own musical path.
How would you describe the music that you typically create?
I could describe my music as something magical that forms at the moment of inspiration I create my music with the intent of making those who listen to it feel good.. and make them forget their daily problems for a few moments
Who would you most like to collaborate with?
What is your creative process like?
I usually get inspired at night while I'm half asleep, sometimes even during the day, so as soon as I have a melody in my head I record it in the audio of my phone sometimes the melody also comes with the words that could give the title to the future song
I would love to collaborate with many artists and musicians, with Philip Bailey lead singer of Earth Wind and Fire,George Benson and Marcus Miller. I have been blessed to meet them in the past

If you could go open a show for any artist, who would it be?
I would love to open a show for one of my favorite jazz artists Myles Sanko.. great artist and humanity!
What is one message you would give to your fans?
My message for my fans is to always try to be positive in every circumstance that life puts you through because I think that there is always a solution to the best of possibilities and to always try to get back up Music in this case always helps to get up and try to feel good as much as possible
What is the most useless talent you have?
My most useless talent is that I easily get to meet VIPs whenever I get the chance and I set my mind to it It happens relatively effortlessly for me, I have a lot of autographs and memories with famous singers, actors and models
Do you sing in the shower? What songs?
Yes, I sing in the shower, recently i like Giorgia's new song "La cura per me" from the San Remo Festival, Italy.
What would you be doing right now if it wasn’t for your music career? I'm a multi passionate person and I always have new creative ideas and projects. While music is a crucial part of my life, painting and making digital art is also very important for me. That's definitely what I focus on when I'm not busy with my musical career.
Which famous musicians do you admire?
Again, it's a long list. I'll mention Mr.George Benson, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Philip Bailey and Verdine White
Where is the best advice you would give to an upcoming artist?
My best advice I would give to an upcoming artist is to not give up and believe in what makes your heart beat the most and not to rush because dreams do come true.

First of all I am self-taught Secondly I started taking my musical career seriously only a couple of years ago and prioritizing music rather than paid work For these reasons I have not yet had the opportunity to perform in renowned venues but I have done it mostly for charity or improvising in various situations
