General Information Rochelle Zell Jewish High School (RZJHS) is a private, full-day, co-educational high school serving students in grades nine through twelve. Located on a seven-acre campus in Deerfield, 25 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, Rochelle Zell opened its doors in 2001 with 25 students and moved to its permanent campus in 2007.

Today, students come from more than 25 communities throughout Chicago and its suburbs. Approximately three-quarters of students join Rochelle Zell from Jewish day schools, and the remaining students matriculate from public and independent schools.
With dedicated faculty and an integrated general and Jewish studies curriculum, Rochelle Zell gives students the opportunity to think deeply, ask questions, explore their identities and values, and engage with the world around them. From the classroom to student life and beyond, students are supported as they develop the confidence, knowledge, and sense of purpose to shape their own futures and contribute to their communities.
