About Me
My name is Tiffinny Potts and I think of myself as an expressive, innovative, creative, and fun designer. I love using color to compliment my ideas, as well as creating expressive and fun designs. My love of color comes from my exposure of Venezuela, which is where my mom is from and where parents met. My family has always been supportive of me and traveling with them to a beautiful tropical country has added inspiration only found in the Caribbean.
Dance Studio Identity
I was inspired to make this project because my sister is a dancer. She has been dancing for ten years which is how I came to create a brand for Rhythm Dance Studio. I wanted to design a brand that was energetic, fun, and vibrant like the dancers were in her class.
Early Iterations
Dance Brochure
I created a brochure that incorporated the brand with the same style as the logo. The overall design is fun, vibrant, and energetic with vibrant colors and dancers in poses that create a nice flow to the design.
Board Game
Vampire Destiny was inspired from my love of fantasy fiction books, some of the card characters came from the authors such as P.C. Cast, L.J. Smith, and C.C Hunter. The overall game has hand drawn organic and abstract symbols with a dark color scheme that fits well into the vampire theme.
Card Symbols
The designs for the symbols on the cards worked on combining all the different styles of vampire stories into one representation for them in one game. I wanted to use a type of calligraphy/ornamental style in my sketches to make it have an old time feel, and could represent the different vampires as one unit in the game.

Fresh & Chic Identity
The brand Fresh & Chic is what all dog owners want their pup to be stylish, fun, and fresh. The Shih Tzu represents this brand well as those are the type of dogs that love to be pampered and stylish. The Shih Tzu is the mascot of Fresh & Chic and welcomes all breeds to be just as stylish.
Early Sketches
Website & Brand
Website Redesign
For this project I wanted to redesign the website layout for L.J. Smith. I wanted the site to feel less crowded and more free like her writing style. The new website design incorporates the essence of what L.J.Smith breathes into her stories.
Home Page & Extras Page
Magazine Publication
For the articles of the magazine wanted to reflect the colors and themes in pop music with everything using bright vibrant colors. I also wanted to keep the images in black and white so that it wouldn't compete with the colors used through out the design.
