Beste herinneringe op die veld? Toe ek die 0.16-Interskole die eerste drie in die hoek gedruk het. Stokperdjies buiten rugby: Krieket. Hoe gaan dit met die voorseisoen se voorbereiding? Dit gaan baie goed. Die fiksheid het definitief ingeskop wat deur die seisoen aan gewerk is. Die ander fasette van die spel is ook aan gewerk en het ons span defnitief gehelp met waar ons nou is. Most memorable moment on the field? Playing against Pearson at home and having the whole school there to support us and cheer us on. How are your pre-season preparations going? Preseason and season preparation has been going very well. The team is ready for the games coming up. What makes it special to run out for your first team? To lead my team is good enough to make it special. They are brothers now and we went through one tough season last year and us coming back to where we are now is probably one of the most special things for me. What’s your favourite position? Flank (always). Who is the joker in the team and why? Leonard De Leeuw, he just knows how to cheer us up and is always up for a joke. Who is the Gym Bomb in the team? Sheldon Mealing knows he’s way around the gym for sure. What motivates you on Saturdays to give your best? Just to know that every game I play I’m going out there to proof myself and proof that this team has all the potential in the world. We want to make our school proud. Is there someone special watching you on game day and if so what is her name? There is no special girl that comes to watch. I appreciate everyone that comes out to support. It means the world to me to see a stand full of supporters. Best moment after a game? To climb in bed and put the feet up and just relax. Who was your matric hero when you were Gr 8, Gr 9? I never had one. Who is the First Team Rugby’s favourite netball or hockey player? Netball would be Daniella Dimaio and hockey would be Kristy Mederer. Choose one: Tackle or Clean?
