7pm - Hang out and meet your family, enjoying light appetizers

Spend time relaxing, getting to know your family, and adding your family members to the family tree (we have over 900 members in an extensive family tree, but less than half are from the Geans branch, let’s start updating)
Friday, May 26th
Relax and enjoy Atlanta on your own, such as, golfing, Skyview Atlanta, visit the college football hall of fame, or visit Atlantic Station. Or, enjoy our optional tours listed below

3hr Walking History, Food Tour, and Art History along the Atlanta Beltline, 5 tastings, 4 restaurants - 11am - $99 This tour has a couple miles of walking with appetizer food portions at each stop. The locations are determined by the tour guide, some involve sitting indoors at the restaurant for a tasting and some involve standing outside the restaurant. Be prepared for an interesting conversation, historical information, and good food.
4hr Stone Mountain 5 stop tour of all the highlights - 9:30am - $85

Family Reunion Activities
5-10pm - Creatives, Entrepreneurs, and Business Owner corner (come and sell your wares, concepts, and/or services). Does this apply to you? Send us (by April 1st) your name, business name/skill/service/product, telephone number, and email. We’ll get you set up to display!!!
6-10pm - Family fun and game night (spades, bid whist, checkers, connect 4, jenga, trivia, caricatures, and time to review the Business Owner corner, etc.
Saturday, May 27th
9am-5pm - Family tour and lunch (includes travel time)
Highlights (see our tenative activities): World of Coca Cola (1hr), Civil and Human Rights Museum (2hrs), lunch at Paschals (1.5hrs, pay for your own meals), drive by tour of local HBCUs (30mins), and the MLK National Park (1hr)
6pm - Family dinner, in memoriam tribute to our recently passed family members (1min each), learning your history and your Geans connection with the Civil Rights Movement. We will include a small presentation about our family, review where you are on the family tree and discuss our connections, and watch a short film on our connection to MLK and CT Vivian.
Sunday, May 28th
7-8:30am - Breakfast on your own
9am - (Optional) Church service at Ebenezer Baptist Church - only fully vaccinated allowed and be prepared to show your ID and vaccination card (church rule)
