01 THE HUNGER TOWER

Shenzhen is a fast-growing city in China, but Many people will not be able to live in central city because of the huge gap between the rich and the poor. Therefore, 10 kilometers away from the center of Shenzhen, there is a community from the bottom of society, called Sanhe.

Sanhe gathers a group of people who want to develop in a big city but don't want to work hard. They do hourly work and spend money immediately, such as playing games. They sleep in Internet cafes and streets every day without any savings.

Therefore, I provide a chance to make them change by the way of irony,which can help them to get out to live in metropolitans.Using a competition tower to provide a venue for study competitions and a residence similar to the "Olympic Village" to inspire their determination to move forward.

Springboard City

In the past many years, many people came to work in Shenzhen from rural inland areas.Their first stops were Sanhe, because they found a job here, lived here, and it became a place for the migrant rural population to enter the big city. Here is the place for the transition from rural immigrants to the city

02 HABITAT FOR SPACE MINING

There are a lot of mineral resources in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. In 2042, the earth will move to the position closest to the asteroid belt. This will be our best opportunity to collect asteroid resources.

This project is aiming to discover the feasibility of space mining and the possibility of the space settlement morphology.

Space mining could be one of the greatest challenges in mankind history due to the lonely and lengthy journey. Thus, simulating earth environment in space is always the priority of my consideration. An O'neil Cylinder space station have been developed to provide spacious and hospitable living environment for space miners.

03 TOYS & LOGISTICS CITY

There is a typical phenomenon in China,especially for lower-class people Parents are busy with work, children are forced to follow their parents during work time, children have no place to play and even help parents work. They are called leftbehind children.

In Chengdu Hehuachi, the phenomenon of left-behind children is very serious.

It is an ancient wholesale market in China, full of shops and porters. They work every day, their children can only play in this crowded and busy area, which is very dangerous and chaotic. Adults also ignore children because they are busy with work.

Therefore, this project has designed a complete logistics system. The entire logistics system is designed as a playground to facilitate the transportation of goods. At the same time, it provides a place for children to play together with adults.

04 THE NEW BOUNDARY

Jingzhou, Hubei as one of the ancient city in China, there is a city wall built 300 years ago.

Now the wall has serious damaged and needs to be repaired. It divides the city into two parts-- inside and outside,and hindering the communication of them. It also have the negative effect to the traffic and the development of the city. In addition, the urban area within the city wall is very crowded, the building density is very high, the residents lack space for public activities.

Therefore, while repairing the city wall,I make use of spaces inside of it without destroying the original appearance of the wall. The proposal transforms 4 parts of wall into public spaces consists of library, activity center, public park and commercial street for urban residents to connect the inside and outside.

On the south side of the city wall, there is a section of wall near three schools, so the function of a library is added, the students can study and read inside the city wall.
