THUN stands for over 100 years of experience and passion in developing and producing high-quality, functional, and honest bicycle components made in Europe. Where human muscle power is converted into drive and motion forces, THUN components ensure a safe and stable ride. Regardless of where and how a bicycle is utilized and whether it is purely human-powered or electrically assisted, THUN offers the right components for it and supplies them globally, quickly, and flexibly.

ANY ROFILE COMPANY PROFILE

Surrounded by forests, meadows, and nature, THUN‘s offices and production facilities are located right by the river in a natural reserve belonging to the town of Ennepetal in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Here, a team consisting of roughly 50 skilled employees handles the production of up to several ten thousand bicycle components per day. The company has been run as a family business since its foundation in 1919. Everyday business is strictly process and KPI driven with the entire production being managed with lean concepts and tools and advanced MES software. Cutting-edge technology and powerful validation methods like optical and sensory 3D measurement are used to guarantee the quality of any product leaving production. THUN’s sophisticated quality and process management is certified as per ISO 9001. Due to an excellent production and supply capacity, THUN is capable of producing and shipping orders in a matter of only a few days.

FOR X-CELL RT 3.0

The Standardized Interface System consists of a standardized cable (cable length = 220 mm) and a standardized connector (Higo Mini Z509 FG Male). This cable and connector form the interface. When OEM customers require a different connector or cable length for the purpose of connecting X-CELL RT 3.0 to their controller they require an extension cable with a Standardized Interface System compliant connector on the one side (Higo Mini Z509 FM Female) and their desired controller compliant connector on the other side. Such extension cables can be sourced from Thun's cooperation partners A&C Solutions (for European costumers) or Higo Electrical Equipment Co., LTD (for Asian-Pacific costumers).
