THUASNE GRUNDADES 1847 Thuasne är ett av världens mest respekterade företag inom hjälpmedelsbranschen. Företaget bildades redan 1847 i St Etienne, Frankrike, och ägs än idag av samma familj.

I Sverige representeras Thuasne av dotterbolaget Thuasne Scandinavia AB. Företaget har 10 anställda och avtal med flera av landets landsting och regioner. Bland våra kunder finns även privatägda aktörer som bedriver ortopedteknisk verksamhet på uppdrag av landets regioner och landsting. Vi har även distributörer i Danmark, Norge och Finland samt en egen hjälpmedelsbutik centralt i Stockholm som på uppdrag av Region Stockholm ordinerar bröstproteser till regionens brukare.

Under 2017 påbörjades en större satsning i syfte att förbättra och optimera det svenska dotterbolaget. Man tillsatte en ny VD med mångårig erfarenhet av den ortopediska marknaden, en ny marknadschef och en ny finanschef. Parallellt anslöt även tre nya produktspecialister med erfarenhet och kunskap inom den medicintekniska branschen. Under 2018 implementerade vi nya rutiner, såg över produktportföljen och optimerade organisationen i syfte att skapa en stabil plattform på vilken företaget kan utvecklas och växa inför framtiden.
