17th Annual Highland Jazz & Blues Festival Saturday September 18
T
he Highland Jazz & Blues Festival is back in Columbia Park (600 Columbia St, Shreveport, LA) for it’s 17th big year! Featuring live music from regional artists, hand made goods and art, and of course lots of great choices for food and drink. This family friendly festival is a Shreveport mainstay and the highlight of the year for the historic Highland neighborhood. The festivities get started at 11:00 am on Saturday. Don’t forget that there is a free shuttle service provided by AEP Swepco from Centenary Gold Dome to and from Columbia Park from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm Saturday, September 18, 2021. The Highland Jazz & Blues Festival is an event produced by the Highland Area Partnership, which is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit arts organization, dedicated to being a positive force in the growth of Shreveport’s historic Highland neighborhood. Through the festival, we will continue to attract thousands of people into Highland who might otherwise never consider visiting our neighborhood. Some of those people will like what they see and make Highland home. In addition to bringing people in, the festival creates free and positive press for the Highland neighborhood.
