INTRODUCTION
Hey there! I'm Heema Solanki, a freshman at UT Austin majoring in Advertising and aiming for a Foundations in Business minor. I’m originally from a small town called Harker Heights—about an hour away where I somehow juggled three different campuses at once: Harker Heights High School, Killeen ISD Career Center, and Central Texas College At the Career Center, I earned my Entrepreneurship and Small Business certification while working toward my business administration endorsement. On top of that, I got my associate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Math & Science) from Central Texas College. Sounds like a lot, right? But don’t worry I still had plenty of fun in high school (for the most part)!
CHARACTER TRAITS
Now, this is where you get to know the real me I don’t always talk all fancy in reality, I’m a bit clumsy. I get nervous, stumble over my words, and when I’m excited, I talk so fast people have to ask me to slow down. But that’s just part of my charm! At heart, I’m an optimist who loves my independence, but with the right people, I let my guard down and reveal unexpected sides of myself I’m passionate about every step I take, always curious, and eager for adventure While I think logically, I also love exploring new perspectives, sometimes letting my heart lead the way. Creativity is a huge part of who I am, and I’m always looking for new ways to challenge myself and think outside the box.
FAVORITE PEOPLE
Above all else, the people in my life are what truly shape who I am. I draw so much energy and inspiration from them, and I genuinely mean it when I say I don’t know where I’d be without them. Whether I just met them this year at UT or they’re my family members who have been there for me through it all, every single person has played a part in helping me grow and become a better version of myself. Their support, wisdom, and different perspectives push me to keep improving and striving for more
HOBBIES
Curiosity is what really drives my hobbies. If I see a cool TikTok about something that catches my eye, you can bet I’ll be at Hobby Lobby the next day, picking up supplies to try it out I’m super crafty, and my hobbies include painting, drawing, sculpting, sewing, embroidery, knitting, crochet, and so much more. Now, don’t get me wrong just because they’re my hobbies doesn’t mean I’m Van Gogh-level at anything on that list! But that’s the fun part: learning, experimenting, and always finding new ways to improve

LIFE @ UT AUSTIN
I’m beyond thankful for where I ended up for university because my time at UT has truly changed me for the better. It’s introduced me to some of the sweetest people, amazing mentors, and incredible professors, and, most importantly, it’s helped me reconnect with myself something I lost in the chaos of the college application process I love everything about UT, from game days to attending meetings for my favorite student organizations. Even through those stressful study nights, I’m so blessed to be able to say I attend the University of Texas at Austin.
