Switch the machine into the jog position; test it to confirm jog position

Get replacement chasers from shelf to change over

Remove the first chasers and replace it with the same chaser; be sure the old numbers match the numbers of the new set. Do that with all four chasers

Use the gauge to set your depth on all four chasers

Open the head up to the diameter you are setting up on, then open three more lines

Change hears in the machine if needed

Run a test bar and check threads for fit; make adjustments as needed until part is in spec

Get QC to inspect part sign off

Once the trainer is confident the trainee has the basic tools and knowledge to perform their job, the trainer will meet with the manager to discuss the training. Once the manager is confident in the completion of the training, he or she will sign and date each area provided below.
