A place for parents and their young children to learn, play, and socialize together.

Last session of the season - Wednesday, May 27th Stay n’ Play will resume in September.

Early Childhood Play Stay n’ Play is a free, drop in parent & tot group focused on the importance of early childhood play and social enrichment for caregivers. Share your experiences, concerns, triumphs and disasters of parenthood—or just have a good laugh together!

Located in Arctic Spas Recreation Complex’s fieldhouse, a large gymnasium setting.

Our family friendly setting is a comfy backdrop to get out of the house and enjoy the morning with your baby. Free play format with a wind-down at the end of each morning. Engaging play such as playdough creation, finger painting, water play, and ages and stages fundamental milestone play.

You’ll gain practical communication strategies, harm-reduction techniques, local resources, and hands-on tips and tools that you can apply in your work or personal life to help others in a positive way.

E-Prep Emergency Preparedness Workshop Emergencies can happen at the most inconvenient times. Having a 72-hour kit can be helpful when you are home and need to shelter in place or evacuate. What happens if you are at work or your family members are at various locations when an emergency occurs?

In this session, we’ll discuss realistic strategies to consider when situations happen at inconvenient times.

E-Prep is an interactive and educational workshop with a step-by-step approach to create a personalized preparedness kit while focusing on mental health and emotional wellness for both individuals and communities. The intent of this workshop is to encourage individuals to discuss, explore, discover and develop their own personal emergency preparedness plan.

This is a Recovery Alberta program and will be facilitated by Leduc County FCSS. Date: Friday, May 22, 2026 .
