Early Childhood Play
Stay n’ Play is a free, drop in parent & tot group focused on the importance of early childhood play and social enrichment for caregivers. Share your experiences, concerns, triumphs and disasters of parenthood—or just have a good laugh together!
Located in Arctic Spas Recreation Complex’s fieldhouse, a large gymnasium setting. Our family friendly setting is a comfy backdrop to get out of the house and enjoy the morning with your baby. Free play format with a wind-down at the end of each morning. Engaging play such as playdough creation, finger painting, water play, and ages and stages fundamental milestone play.

Join our Youth Money Matters: Financial Literacy Series and take the first step toward a confident financial future! Over four interactive weeks, you’ll explore essential money skills:
• Week 1: Budgeting and Saving – Discover how to balance spending and saving to build a strong financial foundation.
• Week 2: Credit Cards and Debt – Understand how credit cards work and learn practical strategies for managing debt responsibly.
• Week 3: Earning Income – Find out how your unique skills and talents can help you earn your own money.
• Week 4: Goal Setting – Learn to set clear, achievable goals to make your dreams a reality.
Watch virtually from your home or join our in-person watch party at the Thorsby Family Resource Network site to watch the Zoom call. Refreshments will be provided for in-person participants.
This series is intended for students in grades 9-12 and/or parents.

E-Prep Emergency Preparedness Workshop
Emergencies can happen at the most inconvenient times. Having a 72-hour kit can be helpful when you are home and need to shelter in place or evacuate. What happens if you are at work or your family members are at various locations when an emergency occurs?
In this session, we’ll discuss realistic strategies to consider when situations happen at inconvenient times.
E-Prep is an interactive and educational workshop with a step-by-step approach to create a personalized preparedness kit while focusing on mental health and emotional wellness for both individuals and communities. The intent of this workshop is to encourage individuals to discuss, explore, discover and develop their own personal emergency preparedness plan.
