CHRISTMAS ELVES THANK YOU ! Well another year for thorsby christmas elves was a huge success. thanks to all our volunteers & generous donations made by our community members & companies!! This year was definitely a tough year for some as food & housing prices skyrocketed. but we showed our community love by all coming together to help give christmas to everyone!! We were able to collect, create & deliver 30 hampers! Thank you to our volunteers who helped sort, pack and deliver all our hampers. Thank you to our firemen & 4-h club who did the fireman food drive & thankyou to everyone who donated. thank you to our schools & Hockey Teams who rocked our christmas elves donation challenge!! Thank you to Thorsby Agriculture Society, G & N Contracting, TOPS, Dyck Insurance Agency, Thorsby Seniors Citizens Club, Thorsby Gymkhana, St. Matthews Church, U15 Cobra's Hockey Team, Telfordville Pastoral Charge Community Church, Thorsby 4-H Cleaver Group, Capital Power, Ruhr Valley, Our Lady of Victory, Leduc Santa's Helpers & Leduc & District Food Bank We truly could not pull this off without all the support from our community!!

This program is free & confidential. one-on-one sessions, to Increase your basic money management Skills by identify the financial challenges that are holding you back & Create action plans to meet your goals. RENTERS! WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU! The one-time top-up to the Canada Housing Benefit aims to help low-income renters with the cost of renting. You may be eligible for a tax-free one-time payment of $500 if your income and the amount that you pay on rent qualify. The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) administers this one-time payment. To apply for this new federal one-time payment, you do not need to receive other housing benefits such as the Canada Housing Benefit, which is co-funded and delivered by the provinces and territories. CANADA DENTAL BENEFIT Canada Dental Benefit is intended to help lower dental costs for eligible families earning less than $90,000 per year. Parents and guardians can apply if the child receiving dental care is under 12 years old and does not have access to a private dental insurance plan. Depending on your adjusted family net income, a payment of $260, $390, or $650 is available for each child. This interim dental benefit is only available for 2 You can get a maximum of 2 payments for each child. Benefit payments are administered by the Revenue Agency (CRA).
