Get Up & Go Girl is a one day workshop designed for young women between the ages of 7 and 17. The workshop will introduce several sports and activities as well as focus on healthy living, body image and self esteem.

Activities to be announced! This year we will be bringing back previous Go Girls, join in the fun and a day of female empowerment!

Girls will be provided with three healthy snacks, lunch and a grab bag full of goodies! _____________________________________________

Registration Reminders How to Pay

Cancellations

NSF Fee

Payment is required in-full at the time of registration. Cash, debit or personal cheques are all accepted. Post dated cheques will not be accepted.

Cancellations must be submitted prior to the registration deadline or a minimum 7 days before the program start date. Refunds will not be granted after the deadline.

A $28 NSF fee will be charged for all NSF cheques. All NSF payments must be made with debit or cash.

Waivers must be filled out at time of payment. Waivers and payments are required for registration to be complete.

Volunteer Income Tax Program

FCSS Volunteer Appreciation

Need a hand with your taxes? Bring them by the FCSS office, and they will get done correctly for you. This program is for low income seniors , families, and individuals who have simple income tax needs.

A night of entertainment hosted by FCSS and door prizes will be awarded to honour the wonderful volunteers of our community! This years entertainment will be provided by Doug Arden, “Canada’s Corporate Funny Man”. Doug is a multi-talented, professional and cleverly combined clean magician and ventriloquist whose entire focus is entertaining his audience.

Foot Care Nurse Aileen Charehun will care for your feet with nail clipping, corn removal, callous reduction, padding and skin care.

Need to go to Leduc for an appointment? Have shopping to do? Or want to visit at the hospital? Leduc Foundation in conjunction with the County of Leduc will be operating bus service from Warburg to Leduc (stopping in Thorsby and Calmar) the FIRST and THIRD Thursday of each month.

Family Day at The Complex!

This year we will be hosting another family dance experience! The kids will get full reign of the fieldhouse to dance and have fun, goodies will be provided as well as there will be door prizes to be won! DJ services will be provided!

As we will have a professional photographer and photo booth there! It is going to be a night filled with family fun and LOVE.

Launch Pad & Sledding

We will be heading to TELUS World of Science for the day with a ton of fun activities planned! We will check out the NEW EXHIBIT Angry Birds Universe! This exhibit features several hands-on angry birds games such as a gear wall, climbing wall, zip lines, angry birds game stations and more. Our day will also include viewing of the movie BUGS! 3D. Do not miss out on this crazy day filled with games, science experiments, the star theatre and more!

We have an action packed day planned! We will be heading off to LAUNCHPAD TRAMPOLINE PARK for the better portion of the morning, then we will head off to SUBWAY for a delicious and personalized Subway lunch! In the afternoon we will jet off to go OUTDOOR TOBOGANNING! Please ensure your child brings a crazy carpet to slide or saucer down the hill with, and proper outdoor attire according to the weather.

Ryan was raised on a small farm near Pigeon Lake and has passion for growing food that is both delicious and environmentally sustainable. Fly Barre Class Monday 7:00pm Jan 9 start – 25 minutes of great cardio on a spin bike followed by 30 minutes of a Barre style class. This low impact class will promote long, lean muscles, a strong core and improve flexibility. Don’t be fooled by the light weights, it is a great workout.

Spin & Sculpt Monday 10:00am ongoing- The best benefits of a spinning class combine with a sculpting routine which involves the use of fitness equipment to bring you a great overall work out, this class is great for burning fat and increasing muscle definition. Class is one hour. Space is limited to 24 people so please call to book your spot.

Hard CORE Strength Wednesday 7:00pm ongoing-This class will focus on full body strength and core conditioning. The movements will train the body to improve function.

It is low impact. Although there is no cardio, the strength base will trim pounds and build power.

Spin Fridays at 9:00am-9:30am Power Up Friday 9:40am starting Jan 6- This work out is functional and will improve your power, coordination, agility and flexibility. Body weight resistance and strength circuits will challenge you! This class finishes with 20 minutes for much needed stretching that includes a combination of PNF, rollers, straps and static movements.

Create your own NHL action fun skate with a private ice booking! Package includes the arena for 1 hour and the meeting room for 2 hours.

Fieldhouse Fun! $100

The Ultimate! $120

Have free reign of the Fieldhouse for your child’s birthday party! Cake & presents can be enjoyed in this space. Rental includes fieldhouse for 3 hours, and use of our equipment.

Want to do it all at our facility? Package includes bowling lanes for 1 hour, fieldhouse or ice rental (choose one) for 1 hour, and the meeting room for 2 hours.
