Cancellations

NSF Fee

Payment is required in-full at the time of registration. Cash, debit or personal cheque are all accepted. Post dated cheques will not be accepted.

Cancellations must be submitted prior to the registration deadline or a minimum 7 days before the program start date. Refunds will not be granted after the deadline.

A $28 NSF fee will be charged for all NSF cheques. All NSF payments must be made with debit or cash.

Waivers must be filled out at time of payment. Waivers and payments are required for registration to be complete.

We are implementing new recreation software that will allow for online transactions. Memberships, facility bookings and program registrations will all be available online in the near future!

Need a hand with your taxes? The volunteer tax program starts March 12th , and will take place at the FCSS Office in the Arctic Spas Recreation Complex. Spring Cooking Club

Exciting & themed activities every day after school!

Want to learn how to make meals and healthy snacks? Want to bring out your inner chef? Join us for cooking club on Thursday afternoons. We will learn all about cooking healthy snacks, meals and desserts and of course get to eat them when the class is over too! Join in on the fun, you will not want to miss out! We will embark upon 5 cooking lessons in our cooking club journey.

Dates: Beginning the week of April 13th and ending the week of June 8th Programs: 

Outdoor Games– Mondays will be about enjoying the nature outside and having fun in the sun!



Creative Crafts– Tuesdays will be an afternoon of crafts and challenging your inner artist through creative art projects.



Sports/Fitness Day– On Wednesdays the children will be playing sports, learning fitness, and playing action packed games to keep them on their toes!

Recycle Your Bicycle Recycle your bicycle program is back in action this spring!

Do you have a bicycle that your child has outgrown?

Does your child need a bike? Come down to the Arctic Spas Recreation Complex and take a look at all the bikes that have been restored and take one home for your child. This program runs all spring/summer long.

How It Works: 1.

Home Alone Course (for children in grade 5 or 6) This one day program is for children who may be home alone before or after school or occasionally for short periods of time. This course is designed to enhance your child’s skills and confidence to stay home alone.

This course focuses on home alone skills, home alone readiness, emergencies, healthy snacks and safe activities.

Extreme Fit Monday 7:00pm ongoing - This fitness class welcomes participants of all ages and levels of fitness, and provides a total body workout. Each session is approximately 1 hour and combines circuit training, cardio, core strengthening, body sculpting and/or flexibility. This class uses a variety of equipment including Moveball, TRX fusion, Interval Training, Circuit Training and more. Participants are limited please call to book your spot.

Spin & Sculpt Wednesday 7:00pm or Thursday 9:00am ongoing -The best benefits of a spinning class combine with a sculpting routine which involves the use of fitness equipment to bring you a great overall workout, this class is great for burning fat and increasing muscle definition.
