Leduc County Family and Community Support Services Seniors Services Seniors Services offers two subsidized programs to help seniors and adults with disabilities remain independent in their own safe, clean, and comfortable homes: Outreach Home Support and Home Help. Outreach Home Support is a light housekeeping service that is available on a weekly or monthly basis. Home Help is offered in the spring and fall to assist clients with heavier cleaning chores within the home. Services are tailored to each client’s particular needs and abilities. To be eligible for either program, you must be a resident of Leduc County or the following areas: Calmar, Devon, Thorsby, Warburg, or the Graminia area of Parkland County. The coordinator can provide information on a variety of senior and disability-related issues, provide referrals to appropriate services, and provide assistance with applications for government pensions and subsidies. NSF Fee
Payment is required in-full at the time of registration. Cash, debit or personal cheque are all accepted. Post dated cheques will not be accepted.
You must register in person at the Arctic Spas Rec Complex during and of days during hours of operation.
A $28 NSF fee will be charged for all NSF cheques. All NSF payments must be made with debit or cash.
Waivers must be filled out at time of payment. Waivers and payments are required for registration to be complete.
Cancellations Cancellations must be submitted prior to the registration deadline of a minimum 7 days before the program start date. Refunds will not be granted after the deadline.

Spend the day in one of the most scenic areas in Leduc County. Enjoy a day in the Devon river valley, where children get their faces painted, play in a bouncy tent and engage in various games and activities.
Come out and enjoy a classic date night including dinner and a movie. Transportation will also be provided! The movie is yet to be announced, but sure to be a great pick! Pick up/drop off schedule will depend on number of participants registered. Grab your spouse and enjoy a well deserved night out!

Come out to the Ukraninan Village for a day filled with traditional and contemporary music. You can take a tour on a wagon ride, or shop at the Village Market. Parks Day at Wizard Lake Wizard Lake is one of the most beautiful spots in Leduc County and will be showcased at this year’s Parks Day. There will be face painting, a bouncy tent, relay races and nature awareness activities. Come in and bring the family for some fantastic summer fun!

Black Gold River Tour
Experience Edmonton's fine arts culture on this day trip to the fringe. The trip includes admission to one play as well as a variety of street performances. Participants will need to bring a bagged lunch. Pick up & drop off times are dependent on registration and will be announced one week prior to event.
Experience an unforgettable journey on the beautiful North Saskatchewan River. Participants will enjoy four hours of fun on the river as we boat, swim and play. A campfire lunch on the island will be provided.

Active Kidz Day Camps
Retro Roller Rink Night
This summer Active Kidz Day Camps are back and better that before! With new ideas, games, and activities for the kids this camp is sure to keep the kids entertained. The camps will run from MondayThursday and wrap up the week with a BBQ lunch at the end of the week on Thursday.
Bring your family & friends down to the Arctic Spas Recreation Complex arena and relive the 80’s with some retro roller skating including disco lights and funky music! Roller skates will be provided at no cost. Helmets are mandatory and will not be provided. Parental supervision is required for children 8 years of age & younger.

Telford Hall Munchkins Camp
This overnight wilderness adventure is sure to test your outdoor skills! All meals for the boys will be provided, so come on out and see how much of a nature bug you really are!
The Munchkins Camp program is a great opportunity to help young children become accustomed to a new social environment as well as interacting with other children. Through crafts, games, and music children will have the chance to meet new friends in a positive atmosphere.

Are you ready to make it big as a reality TV star? Uncover your inner entertainer, find your love for singing, and discover your passion for art in this condensed day camp. This year participants will also enjoy a day trip to Edmonton’s Fringe Festival.
Girls of the county unite! This overnight camp will focus on empowerment and self-regard. Through workshops and activities the girls will explore everything “girl”. Participants can look forward to a photo booth, yoga lessons, crafts, games, a pizza party, and a movie night. Meals and snacks will be provided.

Krazy Kidz Field Trips! Dive into summer with our Krazy Kidz Field trips! On July 3rd we will be shooting off to Lazer Tag in the morning, and then splashing with friends at the Devon Spray Park in the afternoon. Then, July 17th we will be enjoying a program at the Edmonton Zoo, teaching us how to be a Zookeeper! Following the program, we will take a stroll through the zoo, and sight see as well as admire the beautiful animals. Now, better get ready for August! On August 11th, we will be puzzled at the corn maze in the morning, and then bouncing off the Launch Pad in the afternoon! These trips are sure to bring the children some super smashing summer fun! 14 Summer Programs & Events Outlaws Cheer Posse Summer Camps Cheerleading is a combination of dance, gymnastics, cheer, and acrobatic stunting. Summer camps are a fun way of introducing your athlete to the sport for the first time, or continuing to build on your already existing skills. Athletes will learn skills in a safe environment with all certified USASF coaches, as well as make new friends and build confidence. Sign up today! Morrissey Wellness Fitness Classes Summer 2014 Call Sherri at 789-2601 to Register Extreme Fit Monday 7:00pm ongoing - This fitness class welcomes participants of all ages and levels of fitness, and provides a total body workout. Each session is approximately 1 hour and combines circuit training, cardio, core strengthening, body sculpting and/or flexibility. This class will change modalities every 4 weeks including Moveball, TRX fusion, Interval Training, Circuit Training and more. Participants are limited please call to book your spot.
Spin & Sculpt Monday 10:30am or Wednesday 7:00pm starts ongoing. Missing the weight training in a regular spin class? The best benefits of a spinning class combine with a sculpting routine which involves the use of fitness equipment to bring you a great overall work-out, this class is great for burning fat and increasing muscle definition. Class is one hour. Space is limited to 24 people so please call to book your spot.
Spin Wednesday 12:00 Starts ongoingIndoor Cycling classes offer high energy stationary bike workouts that enhance cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. Participants select personal intensity levels during the workout through body position and bike tension. This is a great way to train in the off season and cross train for running. Space is limited to 12 participants
Mud Run Training Thursdays 9:30am This work out is functional and will improve your strength, power, coordination, agility and cardiovascular endurance. Once the weather warms up we may move outdoors. Body weight resistance and CrossFit inspired circuits will challenge you! It is scalable depending on your fitness ability so it is for any fitness level.

Krazy Kidz Fieldtrips! This summer Arctic Spas Recreation Complex will be offering children the opportunity to come on an adventure! There will be 3 field trips during the summer that take place! Brace your kids for some super splendorous summer fun!
