Registration Information How To Register: You must register in person at the complex during the hours of operation.

How To Pay: Payment is required in-full at the time of registration. Cash, debit or personal cheques are accepted.

Post dated cheques will not be accepted. Waivers must be filled out at the time of payment. Waivers and payment are required for registration to be complete.

Cancellations: Cancellations must be submitted prior to the registration deadline or a minimum 7 days before the program start date. Refunds will not be granted after the registration deadline.

Pre-K Fit n’ Fun Young children need active play to develop and ensure lifelong health. Physical activity should begin as soon as possible in their day, and remain constant throughout their day. This program will focus on activities that promote active play through games, fitness, and of course fun!

Parent volunteers are welcome in this program.

Miss Krista is back with her recreational dance sessions, classes offered for ages 3 years and up!

Thorsby Army Cadets runs on the base of fostering leadership, self-reliance, physical fitness and respect for others in Canadian youth. A great positive learning environment for individuals to develop and practice these skills.

Date: NEW FALL 12 week session, starting Tuesday’s from September 16th– December 2nd Place: Arctic Spas Recreation Complex Dance Studio Miss Krista will be offering; *Specialized 30 minute pre-school classes (3-4yrs) at a cost of $90 *Ballet/Jazz, Jazz/Hip Hop 45 minute classes (5-7yrs) at a cost of $120 *Ballet/Jazz/Hip Hop/ Musical Theatre 45 minute classes (8+) at a cost of $120 *Lyrical/Contemporary 45 minute classes (12+) at a cost of $120 **ADULT CLASSES, Dance Fit a 1 hour class using a variety of dance styles to help you stay in shape (18+) at a cost of $120 Families enrolled in 2 or more classes will receive a 10% discount. Schedule will be dependent on enrollment, and a $15 costume fee may apply.

Outlaws Cheer Posse Outlaws Cheer Posse is a competitive All Star cheerleading club located right here in Thorsby. Cheerleading takes a combination of dance, cheers, gymnastics and acrobatic stunting and combines these skills into two and a half minute routines which they perform at competitions. We are now accepting registrations for our fall competitive program and tumbling classes. PD Day Kids Camps

This fall the after school hours will be taking a brand new approach on after school programming. There will be something offered everyday after school for your children, and registration options will be available. Children can come as they please on a drop-in basis, or register for each day at a discounted rate.

Wondering what to do with your day off school? Come down and hang out and play at your favorite place! Join us at the Arctic Spas Recreation Complex on the PD days for a full day of action packed games, creative crafts, new challenges and fun with your friends!

Super Sports Wednesday– On Wednesdays the children will be playing sports and fun athletic related games

CFL Family Fun Run

Sign your teen up for this 1 day babysitting course where they will learn the proper skills how to take care of children and infants, as well as be assessed on their abilities, and receive a babysitting course completion certificate. This course is kindly brought to you by Kidproof.

9 Fitness & Lifestyle Autumn Music and Picnic Hosted by: Thorsby FCSS Thorsby FCSS will be hosting a picnic afternoon to welcome new comers to the town of Thorsby. This wonderful afternoon will include music by various talents, magician and balloons, peanut-less bird feeders, face painting, door prizes and more! There will also be food supplied, hot dogs will be $1.00 each, pie for $1.00 a piece and complimentary juice.

10 Fitness & Lifestyle Infinity Power Yoga Gentle Hatha Flow Yoga This practice of yoga will offer a perfect balance to gaining strength, mobility, flexibility and restoration. Although this class will be using the Hatha yoga principles of building strength in the body, breath and mind, there will also be focus on how to restore and renew the body with some yin postures and incorporation of blocks, straps and bolsters. This class is great for beginners to intermediate practitioners.

Work It Out Fitness Classes Butts N’ Guts

Come down for this 1 hour session which welcomes participants of all ages and levels of fitness. Be ready to work your butt and your gut with lower body and core exercises!

Extreme Fit

Monday 7:00pm Starts Sept 8th– This fitness class

welcomes participants of all ages and all levels of fitness, and provides a total body workout. Each session is approximately 1 hour and combines circuit training, cardio, core strengthening, body sculpting and/or flexibility. This class uses a variety of

equipment including Moveball, TRX fusion, Interval Training, Circuit Training and more. Participants are limited please call to book your spot.

Cycle Circuit Monday 10:30am or Wednesday 7:00pm Ongoing– The best benefits of a spinning class combine with a sculpting routine which involves the use of fitness equipment to bring you a great overall workout, this class is great for burning fat and increasing muscle definition. Class is one hour. Space is limited to 24 people so please call and book your spot.

HIIT Fit Conditioning

10th—Pressed for time? This 45 minute nooner class is 35 minutes of intense full body fitness, with warm up and cool down.

is functional and will improve your strength, power, coordination, agility and cardiovascular endurance. Body weight resistance and CrossFit inspired circuits will challenge you! Car seats, strollers, and children are welcome to come to this class provided they are content with us. There is no childcare provided, but the room is large with lots of space to sleep, run and play while we work out.
