Drone Attack Disrupts Saudi Oil Output, Export About five million barrels of oil affected Chineme Okafor in Abuja with agency report Saudi Arabia’s oil production and exports have been disrupted after drone

attacks on two of Saudi Aramco’s plants, including its oil processing facility was reported. This according to market experts could impact global oil prices.

According to Reuters, sources familiar with the development said the attacks have impacted about five million barrels per day of oil production by Saudi Arabia.

This volume, it stated was almost half of the kingdom’s current output. It added that Saudi Aramco operates the world’s largest oil processing facility and crude

oil stabilisation plant in the world at Abqaiq, in eastern Saudi Arabia, and the plant has a crude oil processing capacity of more than seven million barrels per day (mbd).

his successor in office, Governor Godwin Obaseki, to substantiate his allegation that he was under pressure to share state funds by naming and exposing those who asked him to do so.

In an interaction with some journalists in Abuja at the weekend, Oshiomhole explained how he had involved some of their mutual friends, including billionaire businessman, Alhaji Aliko

dangote, governors, and a minister to try to mend fences with Obaseki. He alleged that the effort was bungled by the governor, and insisted that he had nothing personal against Obaseki but was only seeking

his success in office. Oshiomhole also dismissed allegations that the feud between him and the governor was being compounded by rumours about the possibility of treating Obaseki to a similar

A report just published in The New York Times (NYT) has painted a depressingly grim picture of the Nigerian military in their battle against Boko Haram, claiming the terrorist sect has returned to the battlefront stronger and better armed.
