Deji Elumoye in Abuja The Federal Executive Council (FEC) rose from its second meeting in six weeks yesterday, with the approval of the Medium Term Expenditure Framework as well as the 2024-2026 Fiscal Strategy Paper (MTEF/FSP) where some projections were made for the 2024 proposed budget to be presented to the National Assembly by President Bola Tinubu for consideration. Specifically, the aggregate expenditure was estimated at N26.01 trillion for the 2024 budget, which included statutory transfers of N1.3 trillion and non-debt recurrent expenditure of N10.26 trillion.
