On the same day, President Buhari returned to Abuja after a three-day state visit to Spain and shortly after met with a two-man delegation of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) led by its Chairman and Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu. In a statement he pushed out yesterday, Tinubu said his comments had been misinterpreted by the media and that he did not disrespect President Buhari.
