Swiss Firm Which Paid Bribes to NNPC Officials for Crude Contracts Fined $1.1bn in US Nigerian officials collected over $52m, says State Dept.

modities trading firm has agreed to pay over $1.1 billion for various infractions, including paying bribes

to several African countries to get mouth-watering crude oil purchase contracts.

Between approximately 2007 and 2018, a Department of Justice (DoJ) press release, said that Glencore and

its subsidiaries caused approximately $79.6 million in payments to be made to intermediary companies.

The guidelines of the party provides three ways of choosing the party's candidate for an election, which include direct, indirect and consensus.

Baring his mind on the zoning arrangement, Adamu said no decision would be taken until the aspirants were screened. His words: "We have not
