Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) economic report for January 2021, obtained from its website at the weekend. In contrast, the provisional aggregate expenditure of the federal government rose from
N717.60 billion as of December 2020, to N770.77 billion in the reporting period. According to the report, oil and non-oil revenue constituted 45.4 per cent and 54.6 per cent of the total
collections, respectively. It stated that the modest rebound in crude oil prices in the preceding three months enhanced the contribution of oil revenue to total revenue, relative to the budget

For Alleged Sympathy for Terrorists, PDP Urges Buhari to Remove Pantami I am a changed person, says minister Chuks Okocha in Abuja The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday urged President Muhammadu Buhari to remove the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami, for his alleged sympathy for terrorist organisations, including the Taliban, AlQaeda and Boko Haram. The party also asked the Department of State Security to invite the minister for questioning.
The PDP demanded that Buhari should immediately show Pantami the door given the sensitivity of the issue at stake.
