World Bank in Latest ‘Africa’s Pulse’ Projects 2.7% Growth for Nigeria in 2022 Ndubuisi Francis in Abuja The World Bank in its latest Africa’s Pulse, a biannual analysis of the near-term regional macroeconomic

outlook, has projected a 2.7% growth for Nigeria in 2022. Of the region’s three largest economies - Angola, Nigeria, and South Africa - only Nigeria is projected to enjoy a fairly

good growth in 2022. The report said growth in South Africa is expected to decline by 2.8 percentage points in 2022, dragged by persistent structural constraints.

Angola is projected to continue its growth in 2022, but at just 0.2 per cent. "Angola and Nigeria are expected to continue their growth momentum in 2022,

APC Holds Presidential Primary May 30/31, Gov May 23, Sale of Forms Opens April 22 NWC meets next Tuesday; emergency NEC meeting holds next Wednesday to ratify timetable/schedule of activities for primaries Charles Ajunwa in Lagos and Adedayo Akinwale in Abuja Ahead of the 2023 elections, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is now ready with the timetable and schedule of activities for the primaries for all elective positions, with its presidential primary proposed for May 30/31 in Abuja. An emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party has also been scheduled for next Wednesday in Abuja for the ratification of the timetable and schedule of activities. Ahead of the NEC meeting, the NWC will also meet in Abuja next Tuesday.
