report of a caretaker committee which recommended his suspension. The suspension was said to have been orchestrated by numerous allegations and petitions against his handling

of the Presidential Amnesty Programme. According to a statement by Adesina, such petitions and allegations prompted the president to direct the National Security Adviser

Nigeria confirmed this first case of Coronavirus, officially known as COVID-19, yesterday. The Italian, who works in Nigeria, returned from Milan, Italy to Lagos on February 25, 2020.
