Former President Goodluck Jonathan and former President of Liberia, Ellen JohnsonSirleaf, met late into last Thursday night in Abuja
Africa Elders Forum, an initiative being promoted by the President Goodluck Jonathan Foundation, which would utilise the experience of former leaders to intervene in crisis spots in the sub-region.
The former Liberian President, who spoke to journalists after her meeting with Jonathan, said it was also targeted at deepening already established initiatives aimed at promoting smooth transition
of power within the West African region, which was demonstrated by Jonathan and her, when they handed over power in their respective countries. Johnson-Sirleaf said: “The
