As the global hub of swimwear fashion, Miami takes center stage this season, and we’re excited to share everything it has to offer — including the buzz of PARAISO Miami Swim Week and a dive into some of the city’s most exciting new dining destinations, all part of the Think Hospitality network.
This issue features a special cover and editorial story showcasing the latest designs from Miami-based swimwear designer Devon Windsor @devonwindsor, set against the backdrop of one of our most beloved properties — our beautiful Art Deco landmark, The Plymouth.

In the bustling world of hospitality, it's the personal touches and genuine connections that leave lasting impressions. For Alicia Merrill, Front Office Supervisor at The Plymouth Hotel, creating those unforgettable moments isn’t just part of the job—it’s her passion.
Alicia joined Think Hospitality in August 2024 and, in less than a year, has already made her mark. “It’s been an incredibly fulfilling journey,” she reflects. With a natural gift for making people feel welcome, Alicia was drawn to the hospitality industry for its human connection and ability to craft memorable guest experiences.
What set Think Hospitality apart for Alicia was its culture of excellence and innovation. “You can feel that the entire team is committed to making every guest feel genuinely cared for,” she says. “It’s something I’m really proud to be a part of.”
Every day brings a new opportunity to connect, support, and enhance a guest’s experience. For Alicia, the highlight isn’t found in flashy moments but in the quiet, heartfelt ones—like the time she connected with a stressed business couple whose stay she helped transform. “They were overwhelmed when they arrived, so I made it a point to check in on them and add thoughtful touches throughout their visit. On their last night, they stopped by to thank me and told me how their trip had turned into a mini vacation. It was such a meaningful moment.”
In just a few short months, Alicia’s dedication led to a well-earned promotion to Front Office Supervisor—an achievement she considers both a milestone and a motivator. “Being recognized in that way deepened my passion for what I do. It reminded me why I love this work.”
When asked to describe Think Hospitality’s culture, Alicia doesn’t hesitate: “Supportive. Innovative. Growth-minded.” She thrives in an environment that values creativity and encourages forward-thinking leadership—qualities she mirrors in her day-to-day interactions.
Her advice to new team members? “Make small actions count.” For Alicia, it’s the little gestures like remembering a guest’s name, anticipating a need, or offering a warm smile that create lasting impact.
Beyond the hotel lobby, Alicia finds joy in simple pleasures. “I love spending time at the beach or baking desserts in my kitchen—it’s how I unwind and recharge,” she shares. A lifelong learner, she’s always on the lookout for ways to grow personally and professionally.
