Introduction:

The Bible is compiled with many stories about believers in God. Most importantly, it is God's inspired word that His followers believe.
This digital magazine explains the setting of the Bible, the main tension between God and His followers, and God's plan to bring humanity into fellowship with Him.

In the beginning, God created the Heavens, the Earth, and everything in it. On the sixth and final day, God created humans, Adam and Eve, and placed them in the Garden of Eden. God saw that everything He created was good. He gave Adam and Eve dominion over all of His creation. God gave them one rule and that was not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. They lived in the presence of God.
THE CRISIS

Genesis 3:15:
"I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he should bruise your head, and you should bruise his heel."
Eve was alone in The Garden of Eden when a crafty serpent approached her and persuaded her to eat from The Tree of KnowledgeofGoodandBad.Eveatethefruit and gave it to Adam. They disobeyed God andHepunishedthembykickingthemoutof the Garden. They no longer lived in the presenceofGod.
THE COVENANT

After Adam and Eve are kicked out of The Garden of Garden, the human race continues to disobey God by murder and pride until God has to flood the Earth and wipe out mankind.
GOD INSTRUCTED ABRAHAM TO LEAVE HIS HOMETOWN AND FAMILY TO TRAVEL TO A LAND THAT GOD WILL SHOW HIM. GOD PROMISED ABRAHAM LAND, MANY DESCENDANTS, BLESSINGS THROUGH THE ENTIRE WORLD, AND BLESSINGS AND CURSES ON OTHERS DEPENDING ON HOW THEY TREAT HIM. ABRAHAM LISTENED TO GOD. HE IS KNOWN AS THE FATHER OF FAITH!

THE PROPHETS THE PROPHETS THE PROPHETS

NUMEROUS PROPHETS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT, SUCH AS ELIJAH, ISAIAH, JEREMIAH, EZEKIEL, AND DANIEL, USED THEIR OWN UNIQUE WAY TO DELIVER GOD'S MESSAGES. THEY ENCOURAGED AND WARNED THE ISRAELITES ABOUT THE COMING OF THE MESSIAH, JESUS CHRIST, REPENTING THEIR SINS AND TURNING AWAY FROM FALSE IDOLS.

Wisemen traveled to Bethlehem following the star, leading them to Jesus. They gave him gifts of gold, myrrh, and frankincense. King Herod had intentions of killing Jesus, so Mary and Joseph took Jesus to Nazareth.

JOHN JOHN THE BAPTIST THE BAPTIST

John the Baptist was influential in preparing the way for Jesus Christ. John the Baptist preached the message of repentance and baptized people in the Jordan River to symbolize cleansing and forgiveness of sins.

Nonbelievers accused Jesus of blasphemy because He said He was the Messiah and Son of God. One of his disciples, Judas, betrayed Him and had Him arrested. Jesus was beaten and hung on the cross to die.
Jesus died for our sins, which was all a part of God's plan. Jesus's death was a sacrificial act that provided a way for people to be in fellowship with God again and receive salvation through faith in him.

Jesus Resurrection
THREE DAYS AFTER JESUS WAS CRUCIFIED, HIS TOMB WAS DISCOVERED EMPTY. JESUS RAISED FROM THE DEAD. HE APPEARED TO HIS DISCIPLES AND FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS.
JESUS'S RESURRECTION SIGNIFIES THE FULFILLMENT OF GOD'S PROMISES, CONQUERING SIN AND DEATH, AND ETERNAL LIFE FOR ALL WHO BELIEVE IN HIM. THE RESURRECTION WAS THE ULTIMATE DEMONSTRATION OF GOD'S LOVE FOR ALL WHO BELIEVE IN HIM.
THECOMINGOF THEHOLYSPIRIT

The book of Acts discusses the Holy Spirit, and the Pentecost occurred 50 days after Jesus' resurrection. The Holy Spirit is Jesus's promise to send The Advocate or Comforter to guide and empower his followers.
The Holy Spirit came upon Jesus's disciples and appeared to have tongues of fire, which allowed them to speak other languages to reach larger crowds about the gospel as good news. The disciples were empowered to carry out the mission of spreading the gospel and making disciples of our nations.
ACTS 1:8
“BUT YOU WILL RECEIVE POWER WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS COME UP ON YOU, AND YOU WILL BE MY WITNESSES IN JERUSALEM, AND IN OUR JUDEA, IN SAMARIA, AND TO THE END OF THE EARTH.”

THE CHURCH

The beginning of the church began when the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples in Jerusalem, empowering them to proclaim the message of Jesus with boldness, confidence, and clarity Peter's sermon convicted about 3000 people through his message. The early believers devoted themselves to fellowship prayer, creating a sense of community and unity for new believers, and committed to sharing the word.
