Pegasus CCTV Project

The Pegasus Residents Group Inc. (PRGI) has been working with North Canterbury Neighbourhood Support (NCNS), Police and Waimakariri District Council, on the Pegasus CCTV project, a crime prevention and investigative tool for safer communities. Planned in three phases, the initiative requires community fundraising and the PRGI has just announced the commencement of Phase 1, made possible by a generous $5,000 donation from local business

owners Simran and Raj Sandhu of Super Liquor Pegasus. PRGI President, Matt James, said, “We were blown away to get the call from Simran. The budget for Phase 1 is approximately $10,000-12,000 and will see cameras in three key locations. This donation means we can get the first location underway and installed in March.” NCNS is overseeing donation collections - visit www. pegassusresidentsgroup. com for details.
