The Woodpecker Community Trust Volunteer Thank You and end of year evening

The Woodpecker Community Trust held their annual Xmas and Volunteer Thank You to the volunteers evening on 30 November. This was very well attended with almost 60 people who came along to The Bunker, Pegasus for drinks and nibbles. Ian Lennie, Chair and Treasurer gave a presentation thanking their volunteers, distributers, deliverers and board members.

Debs Taylor-Hayhurst, Editor thanked all The Woodpecker contributors both paid (advertisers) and community groups for their amazing contribution over the year. The Woodpecker only exists because of its input from the local community. The now full-colour publication with a Dec / Jan edition reaching its biggest ever publication with 64 pages, started off a one-page leaflet printed on a gestetner over 40 years ago.
