St John Annual Appeal 4-10 April Be seen for Team Green St John ambulance officers will be fundraising from 4-10 April for the important equipment, ambulances and medical supplies they need to keep saving lives in the community. The North Canterbury Area Committees need to fundraise $6000 per day in order to provide the various products and services that St John offer. These include emergency ambulance cover, medical alarms, first aid training, youth programmes, caring caller and health shuttles.
DID YOU KNOW: • St John attended 4296 incidents in the North Canterbury Area in the past 12 months. • A fully equipped ambulance costs $211,000. • St John trains over 60,000 people in First Aid each year. • St John installs 2000 medical alarms each year.
Over 400,000 New Zealanders will call St John for help this year because they are very sick or injured. Donations made during their Annual Appeal will help St John respond to these calls faster and with the best equipment possible. The annual appeal will involve a number of street collections at various locations throughout the district, as well as public displays at the Rangiora and Amberley Libraries, Health 2000 and ASB Rangiora.
The increased distribution into Pegasus is proudly supported by the LIONS CLUB of WOODEND. WOODEND
