High Seas Adventure Program, All Ages Dive into a summer-long adventure! Join the High Seas Adventure challenge, running during the regular pool season and free to participate! Explore at your own pace by visiting each pool, asking for the High Seas Adventure clue, and submitting your answer. Grab your family and friends and join us at the pool to splish splash with our Sweet & Sour Summer Series. Two days, one sweet summer. Sweet and sour treats included. Fee: Regular daily entry; FREE for season pool pass holders

Interact with a mythical mermaid by swimming, playing and enjoying underwater games and seaside crafts. There is fun to be had from storytelling to learning valuable mermaid skills. Your participant will enjoy the unique experience of making a dream reality! Enjoy one of two different time slots to match every swimming ability. Fee: $30 Resident; $35 Non-Resident

Water Aerobics, Ages 16+

This program, taught by an American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard Instructor, is designed to give youth the foundational knowledge and skills to be a future lifeguard. This program does not certify them as a lifeguard but does build skills with some fun incorporated along the way. Please bring your own snacks, lunch, water and sunscreen. Fee: $125 Resident; $135 Non-Resident

Low-impact workout that utilizes every muscle for a full-body workout. Each session is 8 classes. Participants are encouraged, but not required to bring their own water, jogging belt and water weights. Fee (Per Session): $65 Resident; $70 Non-Resident Sessions

Scuba Diving, Ages 12+ PADI eLearning is a flexible way to complete the classroom portion of the PADI Open Water Diver Course. The first weekend is at Shadowbend Pool for the water portion of class. The second weekend is at The Blue Lagoon in Huntsville, where you get to put your knowledge in action for an open water dive! All equipment provided. You will receive all materials and cards upon successful completion of course certifying you as an open water diver. The class focuses on building endurance, practicing drills and developing the confidence and skills swimmers need to prepare for competitive swim team. Swim Starters Swim With Me • Ideal for 6 months to 2 years of age. • Must have an adult in the water at all times.

Preschool • For beginner swimmers who are ready to learn how to blow bubbles and put their face in the water. • Participants will glide on front and back with instructor support.

Foundations Level 1 • Review of knowledge gained in preschool class. • Expanding on front and back glide, pushing off wall with minimal instructor support.

Level 2 • Transitional class where partcipants are ready to support themselves as they push off the wall, flip from front to back, and reorient to a vertical standing position, adding in kicks.

Level 3 • A focus on stroke development. • Survival float, front crawl, elementary backstroke, scissor and dolphin kick, treading water, and headfirst entry.

Advanced Advanced • Continued focus on stroke development. • For swimmers who have mastered freestyle and backstroke. • Ability to swim full pool lengths.

Junior Swim Team & Swim Clinic • In-between of Learn-to-Swim and Swim Team. • Focus on making strokes swim team legal. • Building endurance, comfort in water and rotary breathing.

River’s Edge Pavilion The River’s Edge Pavilion at Rob Fleming Aquatic Center is a 625-squarefoot area with four picnic tables. This separate shaded area can be rented while the pool is open. Available by reservation, $75 for two hours. Attendees must still pay admission to the pool in order to use the River’s Edge Pavilion. Rental fee is not a substitute for pool admission.
