Welcome to The Woodlands Township’s 2024 Splash Guide! Inside, you will find information about Township pools, spraygrounds, facility rentals, pool events and more. The Township is home to 14 community pools and six spraygrounds, making it an ideal destination for all your summer fun! Are the pools available for rental for private parties? Yes! All 14 pools can be rented for private events, but only outside of the pool’s regular hours.

Splash Into Fun: Rentals and Events

Pool Rental

Rent a pool for any social event! New this year, rent select pools first thing in the morning! Ideal for young children and those sensitive to afternoon heat. Offered at Bear Branch, Cranebrook, Falconwing, Shadowbend and Windvale, Saturdays and Sundays from May 24 to August 13, 2024.

Pop-Up inflatables are available to add on to rentals at Alden Bridge, Bear Branch, Creekwood, Falconwing, Forestgate, Lakeside, Ridgewood, Rob Fleming, Sawmill and Shadowbend. Lifeguards are required and provided.

River’s Edge Pavilion Rental

The River’s Edge Pavilion at Rob Fleming Aquatic Center is a 625-squarefoot area with four picnic tables. This separate shaded area can be rented while the pool is open. Available by reservation, $75 for two hours. Attendees must still pay admission to the pool in order to use The River’s Edge Pavilion. Rental fee is not a substitute for pool admission.

Red, Hot & Pool

Mark your calendar for the Township’s Red, Hot & Pool celebration on Thursday, July 4, 2024! Each pool will have patriotic decorations, activities and refreshments (while supplies last) from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. with the 4th of July activities happening between noon and 4 p.m. Daily fees apply for Residents and Non-Residents. Entry is free for Season Pool Pass holders.

Private Swim Lessons

One-on-one swim instruction for adults and children. Pick from one of the pools listed below, then choose a time. All lessons are 30-minute sessions. All classes are held during public swim hours.

• May 20 - 31, 2024: Bear Branch, Noon to 6 p.m.

• June 3 - August 2, 2024: Alden Bridge, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Lakeside, 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Sawmill, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Shadowbend, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Ridgewood, 8 a.m. to Noon (Saturdays only)

Wendtwoods, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

How old must my child be to go to the pool alone? Children age 11 or younger must be accompanied by someone at least 16 or older to enter the pool facility.
