The Oxen enjoyed an early lead in the event, clinching most preliminary golds such as those in the Badminton and Table Tennis events.

It was then that the Sirens launched every ounce of biteback, making a run in the last stages of the tournament to chip away at the rising BBO lead.

Despite the bid, the Big Blacks’ slipstream was far too titanic to surmise, effectively defending their spot as top finishers in lieu of their excellent strategy to win early and never hold back.

The Sirens, who held second podium in the event, trailed the black champions by a whole five points, being shut down in the individual events and other team games despite their late championship bid.

The Vipers, who garnered a total of 75 points, finished last behind the two juggernauts.

Despite the injury, Datu continued to play throughout the remainder of the game.

With BBO’s momentum slowing down due to their captain’s injury, Siren Jae Lord Sumat lit a jumpstart to the team’s lacking offense, firing up with his ferocious drives to the basket as the Sirens soar to cut down the lead to a 1 - point deficit after a set of

Despite getting injured in the middle of the game, I reminded myself to keep pushing and not give up without trying. I knew that I had the trust and support of my teammates, and I was determined to exceed everyone's expectations.”

“Wala akong masabi kasi makikita mo lahat ng players na nag-effort talaga and makikita mong deserve din ng iba yung panalo pero syempre binigay samin ni Lord yung panalo and na-paid off yung pagpasok namin ng maaga para magensayo.” fellow oxen Aivan Catacutan commented when asked about his involvement in the game.
